I can’t finish a project, anymore, without getting the Accessi team to test it for me. They regularly help me find accessibility issues that I’m not aware of. You will be amazed at their perspective, and at how certain things you thought really worked, actually are not accessible to people with disabilities. In short, hire them, because this is the most useful thing that can happen. Trust me, You will expand your audience massively.

Goran Markovic
UX & Accessible
Design consultant
Being a designer for almost two decades, and going all the way from the print through web and UX/UI, accessibility came as a logical next step in my personal development several years back when I started putting more effort into it. Soon I realized I wanted to make stuff accessible more than I could as a designer, so I started auditing and consulting the companies on how to make their digital channels and products more accessible to impaired users. For the last few years, I have been running manual and automated audits both on web and mobile platforms and preparing remediation recommendations/plans on how to achieve WCAG compliance.
